Industrial Exhibitions PDF Print E-mail

In providing our industrial exhibitions over the last 15 years, we have been supported in our role by many of the UK’s largest site operators including AWE, Bae Systems, MOD, Science & Technology Facilities Council, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Sellafield Ltd and Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd to name but a few.

By working with these site operators in support of their engineering and supply chain needs, our highly focussed industrial exhibitions enable both existing and potential suppliers the opportunity to meet directly with end-users and those involved in the assessment, acquisition or purchasing of technology products and services. Held in locations which are convenient for this target audience, our exhibitions are often situated within ‘secure’ venues which are not accessible without special provision giving exhibitors an unique opportunity to meet with key individuals in an environment which may not be possible any other way.Defence_Technology_Exhibition_01

We are unlike most other exhibition organisers in that we bring your products & services to those who need them...where they need them most”, namely at the sharp edge and front line of industry rather than city centre exhibition & conference centres where engineers, technologists, scientists and buyers (your target audience) may neither have the time to travel nor the financial resources to attend.  We therefore believe our industrial exhibitions are quite different because they completely reverse the customary concept of promoting your products and services.  In fact, considerable time and money could be spent trying to achieve the same level of contact and client awareness as might be gained from attending any one of our one-day exhibitions. In a nutshell, by quickly knowing what the underlying problems are, what solutions might be required and exactly who needs them, you can focus your own valuable time on cultivating the links and building relationships gained from attending our exhibitions.

Given that these events are often more effective in helping sales and marketing teams to identify who they should be dealing with, our level of repeat custom is high with many exhibiting clients consistently opting to use our exhibitions as a means to demonstrate their abilities on a regular basis.

Since our ethos is also to promote technology transfer and innovation, we actively encourage companies who may not have previously worked in a particular sector to promote their capabilities elsewhere. It is our firm belief that for many industrial problems there is often already a solution in existence, but it may have been developed for a very different reason. Therefore, by encouraging companies from one sector to consider transferring their technologies to another sector we try to help industry to avoid the need to ‘re-invent the wheel’.

Exhibitions to meet the needs of the Nuclear, Defence and Science Sector

Nu-Tech Associates Ltd organises its industrial exhibitions to focus on the current demands of several UK business sectors. The needs of each sector and indeed, each site operator can be very different requiring important dialogue prior the marketing and commencement of each event.

Over the last 15 years, we have built up excellent working relationships with all the site operators with whom we deal and we always endeavour to accommodate their engineering and/or supply chain development requirements.

Nuclear Exhibitions – The nuclear industry is undergoing a state of transformation. The potential renaissance of nuclear power, the updating of existing operational plants and the on-going requirements to deal with issues surrounding waste management & decommissioning means that the nuclear industry is as busy today as ever. We are currently working with several nuclear site operators helping them to both meet with existing suppliers to discuss on-going issues and introduce new suppliers who might be able to bring about further efficiencies in the supply chain.

Defence Exhibitions – In order to meet the needs of the UK’s Armed Forces, we are working with the MOD to help it identify suppliers who can support both their ‘operations in the field’ by introducing new & innovative ways of fulfilling their current responsibilities whilst also considering future requirements that will help serve all our troops, whether they be focussed on land, air or sea activities.

Science Exhibitions – The Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is one of Europe’s largest multidisciplinary research organisations supporting scientists and engineers worldwide. It operates world-class large scale research facilities, provides strategic advice to Government on their development and manages international research projects in support of a broad cross-section of the UK research community.  Our science-focussed events ensure companies wishing to demonstrate their capabilities to a diverse range of end-users, scientists; engineers and specialists can do so at the very heart of the UK’s science & technology research industry operated by the STFC.

Why should you exhibit?

If you want to increase your corporate profile in the nuclear, defence or science sector (or indeed create a profile if you are new to that sector), then there are many reasons why you should consider exhibiting at one of our events.

Our exhibitions are not intended to compete with large events based in purpose-built centrally-located conference centres where both the exhibitor and the attendee are expected to travel great distances. Instead, we host exhibitions that are relatively small (up to 60 exhibition spaces) but which are designed in such a manner as to offer attendees the opportunity to visit every stand should they wish to do so - something which is very difficult to do if attending a large multi-national exhibition.

Investing time and money into marketing your products and services is an essential part of successful business. However, whilst some companies may take the decision to cut their marketing budgets in this time of recession, in reality the opposite remains true.  Marketing your products and services today in order to secure the future (whilst also staying ahead of your competitors) is now a more crucial tool than ever.

Therefore, expanding your customer base and solidifying existing customer loyalty should always come high up your list of priorities. If you don’t capture the attention of visitors at an exhibition, not only could you miss out on potentially new clients, but it is quite possible that the competition could start to reduce your existing customer base.

  • Do you want to find new customers?
  • Do you want to promote other products & services in your portfolio to existing customers?
  • Would you like the opportunity to see what your competitors are promoting?
  • Would you like to network with other companies to encourage possible collaborations or spin off’s?

If the answer to any of these questions is ‘Yes’, then attendance at any one of our exhibitions is worth considering.
